One of my favorite photo editing suites is Filterstorm. The feature I used the most is the ability to manipulate Curves and then apply with a mask. The app is chalk full of features but the user interface is a little ungainly. Rumor has it that Filterstorm 3 will be available towards the end of June and may be a free upgrade to current Filterstorm 2 users!
